What is P24?

​

In a nutshell P24 is a 24 hour period of time in which there will be a specific focus on prayer, praise & people together. P24 is held at Redruth Baptist Church. 

​

D.L Moody says "Every great move of God can be traced to a kneeling figure". If we want to see a great move of God in our lives, in our community and in our nation then prayer is not an option. It's a must!

​

P24 will provide an opportunity for us, God's people to come together in focused times of prayer to seek His face and intercede for one another for our local community, our nation and the wider body of Christ.

  

What will be happening over the 24 hours?

​

There is a number of opportunities for people to come and get involved. There will be opportunity for people to come and pray together through specific areas, a time to have space to sit quietly in the Lord's presence and opportunity to join together in praise and worship. 

The day will start off with the mens prayer breakfast. The church will be open from 12pm-12am to enable people to come in a join in different prayer focus. As well as what is listed below we will be praying for everyone in RBC by name over the 12 hour period.

7.30-9.00 - Men's Prayer Breakfast

12.00-16.00 - Revival Prayer

16.00-20.00 - Evangelism

20.00-Midnight - Schools,Youth & Children

 

What is all this stuff about signing up?

​

We have a desire for as many people as possible to be involved as possible. Although we would like people to gather and pray together, we would like to give people the opportunity to pray at home especially if they are willing to get up in the middle of the night. We also would like to see 24 hours of unbroken prayer.

 

We have therefore given people the opportunity to sign up and commit to a time of prayer. We would recommend signing up for 30 minutes or an hour.
