Who Is Who?

I was a primary school teacher for 11 years before I began full time ministry over 20 years ago. Ever since then I have seen God provide for me and my family.

For me, the essential things are that we might be a beacon of the gospel in this area to everyone we meet.

I am convinced that to be really evangelical and not compromise on the Bible in the liberty of the Holy Spirit is the only way forward today.  My burden to bring all believers to maturity in Christ is reflected in Colossians 1:28-29 – "We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labour, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me."

I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian household and attending RBC for a short time as a child, but at age 17 I chose to go my own way. I became addicted to drugs, got involved in crime, and spiralled into a life far from God.

At 21, after much research into Christian history and apologetics, I cried out to the Lord for forgiveness and grace. In that moment, all the theology I had learned and been surrounded by as a child became profoundly real. A tremendous sense of peace entered my life, and I was delivered from the path I had been on.

I later returned to RBC, where I met my wonderful wife, Bethany. We married in 2019, and in 2020 I began serving as a youth leader and deacon. In 2026, I felt called into eldership, and after much prayer and seeking, it is a joy to now help lead the very church where both my parents and I were married.

All glory going to the Lord Jesus Christ is my main aim in life. My heart is to see, particularly young people, return to The Lord and become on fire for Christ.

“...I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts...” — Joel 2:25
